Avalanche 6.0 : License activation

1. Obtain the Activation Code from Wavelink. 

2. Find the Avalanche server's node lock
    -  On the console go to Tools - Support and Licenses
    -  Note the Node Lock

This screen will also show the number of unlicensed devices. 

3. Go to wavelink.com/activation

4. Enter the node lock and Activation code and click Activate

5. Once the key is accepted click to download the Wavelink.lic file. Copy to a location on the server. 

If you already have existing licenses and new licenses need to be added, then follow these steps 

- Edit the downloaded Wavelink.lic file and copy the line from the file. 

- Edit existing Wavelink.lic file and add the copied line to the bottom of the file. 

- Save file. 

To add a new license file to Avalanche 6.0 follow these steps:

1. On the console go to Tools - Support and Licensing

2.  Click on add Licenses

3. Select License file and click Import.

4. Browse to location of Wavelink.lic file and select the license file. 

5. The license file is now show on the Add License screen. Click on Save. 

If the server has internet connection, then the Activation key option can be selected. 

6. The license information will now appear under Installed licenses. 

7. Restart the Wavelink License Server service. 
Total number of licenses will now be shown. 

8. You will notice that there will still be a number of Unlicensed Devices. This will go down once the devices start checking in.
