So I have installed Avalanche 6.0 in a sandpit environment, will blog details of installation and screen shots separately.
After initial testing found the following minor bug:
Login to web console fails sometimes at first attempt - After a period of inactivity the session times out and returns to login screen. If you try to login the first attempt sometimes fails and stays at the login screen. This has been noticed in multiple environments. This has been raised with Wavelink. A quick response from Wavelink is that is because it recreates a valid session to then login to which is the “refresh” that blanks the username and password.
To test this theory, I did a page refresh F5 next time the timeout occured and then logged in, login worked the first time.
Wavelink currently checking with their product teams if this is something that will be changed in future release.
